Alpenglow on Tahoma (Mt Rainier). The reddish colors of alpenglow only occur for about 5 minutes right after sunset and only when the clouds don’t get in the way. This shot was taken just outside of Mt Rainier National Park in Washington State.

Alpenglow/Sunset/Sunrise

Big Creek falls above the Lewis River in rural Skamania County, Washington. This 113’ falls is one of 5 falls along Big Creek but might be the most scenic. A rare example of a double spraybow.

Waterfall

Clouds are great for providing unique shapes and sunset gives the last light of the day to highlight those clouds. This shot is above Alder Lake, Washington in rural Pierce County.
