Big D Falls – This is an unnamed waterfall about 150’ tall in Lewis County a few hundred feet from Skate Valley Falls above Skate creek.
Clear Creek Falls – Perhaps one of my most photographed waterfalls due to the size and ease of flying, but I had yet to capture a spraybow while there was still snow around. This has a total drop of 229’ and is located in Yakima County a few miles East of White Pass.
Falls Creek falls – The first shot I have of a waterfall and Wy’East (Mt Hood). This is a series of 3 drops totaling about 335’ with the tallest drop at 135’. Located in Skamania County about 15 miles North of Carson.
Loowit – Late fall allows travel on forest roads with a light coat of fresh snow. Taken from the East side of Loowit (Mt St Helens) about 15 miles South of Randle.
Well Creek falls – Another time where the main target ended up not working out but the secondary target provided a spraybow. This 93’ tall waterfall in a remote part of Whatcom County was an accidental find while trying to capture the much larger Mazama Falls upstream.
Curly Creek falls – This 78’ waterfall has not one but two natural arches which is very rare. Located on a tributary of the Lewis River in Skamania County.
Tahoma – An above the clouds shot of Tahoma (Mt Rainier).
Vincent Crek Falls - This has a total drop of 250’ across 4 drops in the Skokomish river gorge. Located about 7 miles from Hoodsport in Mason County.
Big Creek Falls – This is above the Lewis river which is famous in it’s own right for waterfalls and is another example of finding something I wasn’t planning on. There are 5 separate waterfalls along Big Creek but this 113’ drop is the easiest to access and likely the best. This is a rare example of a double spraybow.
Tahoma – Alpenglow on Tahoma. In the middle of this shot is the Carbon glacier which is the lowest elevation glacier in the continental US at about 3500’.
Hemlock Creek – A 275’ drop with a spraybow and a volcano (Loowit/Mt St Helens). This is a tributary of the Lewis River in Skamania County.
Mist Falls – This is simply a massive waterfall with a total height of 520’ between 2 drops along the Columbia Gorge in Multnomah County, Oregon. Golden hour adds some color but the spraybow looks so small in comparison to this behemoth.
Olallie Lake – Late fall gives long shadows in this looking down shot. Located in rural Skamania County.
