Big Four Ice Cave 503

from $20.00

Reflections, fall colors and an ice cave! An ice cave forms each year at the base of Big Four mountain and - depending on conditions - may last year-round. This is rare at this altitude of around 2000 feet but it sits almost due north in a steep gully so it doesn’t get much (if any) direct sunlight. Big Four Mountain is quite steep here and a large amount of snow accumulates here due to avalanche activity at the top of the mountain. The ice caves are fun to look at, but don’t go inside as they are dangerous, and many folks have lost their lives exploring the cave.

16x20 printed on 17x22 Canon Photo Paper Pro Luster or Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Smooth.
8x10 printed on 8.5x11 Canon Photo Paper Pro Luster or Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Smooth.

Some custom sizes available.

Daniel Imagery watermark will be removed from printing.
